Today was Victoria's big day she got "BRACES". She couldn't wait to get them, you know all her friends have them so she had to have them too. Her friend Lauren got her braces last week. When you get braces these days you can pick the color of rubber bands they put on your brackets, so her and Lauren have the same colors- pink and green. Well, tonight is not so fun, her mouth is sore and in some pain as those of us who have had them know. But the up side is in 2 years she will have beautiful teeth and mom & dad have a hole in our pocket. I guess what goes around comes around.

Wanting braces (silver pieces of metal attached to our teeth that cut up our lips and draw pain to our mouth) just because friends have them. That just shows the power of peer pressure.
