I created this blog a long time ago and so I guess I need to send it out or what is the point right. Some of the recent things that have been happening is Victoria won her school science fair for the seventh grade. Her project was Global Positioning. Brad and her made a tool called the astrolab and with it found the North Star. After finding star the instrument told them where there latitude was. They checked their work with Google earth and they were right.
Then she was able to go onto district and she won first also. Last Friday she went to Magnolia, Arkansas for regionals and she came in 3rd place. She was pretty happy about all of it plus she got $40 bucks too.

Oh my gosh! That is really quite amazing. Jarred took and astronomy class last semester and I got to see and try out all the cool gadgets that came in his course packet. I can't believe they made their own. Must be good at math. Or maybe it's just the amazing Platt mind at work.
