UNDER MY SKIN

It bugs me sometimes when people compare Texarkana in negative way to other places in the country.

There are many wonderful things about where we live. I happen to love it here. It is a great place to raise a family, it's not too big and not too small. We have lots of beautiful scenery and many out doors-y things to do. I admit it's not the best place to shop but compared to what it was years ago, it's pretty good. It isn't the tourist mecca of the world but that's why you travel and go on vacation. I love our ward, it's been one of the friendliest wards I've ever been in and I've been in lots.

Thank you Suzanne! I soooooo needed that (couldn't watch the video, so I don't know what it said)! I am going to try harder because I would rather have my kids raised here than somewhere else (including Bryan!). :-)

ugh! that makes me soooo homesick! gosh, I love Texarkana! I would have never admitted it before I came to college. It seemed I couldn't get out of there fast enough. But I've really learned to appreciate it and I miss it sooooo much! it bugs me too when people say they didn't like living there. What's not to like???
