Ashdown Whistle Stop Pageant

Last night Victoria was in a Pageant in Ashdown. Every year Ashdown has this festival called Whistle Stop Days where all the local merchants get together and close Main Street to cars and have street venders and games for kids. There were nine other girls in her division and she knew all of them from school. She had a great time getting all dressed up, and her hair turned out really cute, too bad I didn't get a picture of it from the back. She didn't place but of course we thought she should have. It was good experience for her and she wants to try another one sometime. We are proud of Victoria for all the things she does and tries, she is a pretty good kid.

P.S. Victoria counted how many bobby-pins were in her hair when she took them out and there were 32! The girl who did it made sure that hair wasn't going to move.

Way to go VICTORIA!! It's always great to try new things, even if we don't always win them. I'm so proud of her, however on a personal note, she was the prettiest gal there. Great job sister! wish we could of been there to cheer you on. Love you lots!

Looks like a fun night. Her dress is gorgeous. Almost as Gorgeous as her. I have always been impressed with victoria! She is a great example of just going for it! She is always getting out there and trying new things.
PS if she would have given a pedicure as her talent she definately would have won!!! Best one I have ever had!:)

Wow, what a babe! I love her dress. I never would have had the courage to do something like that. I don't like it when lots of people look at me.I would definitely have to agree with everyone else, she was the prettiest one there. Should have one, hands down.

Victoria way to go girl! My daughter did pageants from age 6 until she was 12. She loved every minute of it. It was a great experience. I was glad she could get up infront of a crowd & do what she did.
Take care!
