Happy Anniversary to Us 18 years! We celebrated our anniversary this weekend in Dallas with the youth at the temple then we pawned our kids off to Nana & Papa to take them home and we stayed the night. It was wonderful to stay in a hotel and wake up when ever we wanted to in the morning. We went to sacrament meeting there and it was pretty nice listening to the talks and not having to shh Cole. All the years Brad has lived so close to Dallas he never went to the grassy noel to see where JFK was assassinated. We took a tour of the Texas School Book Depository where Oswald supposedly shot the President. It was a audio self guided tour which was nice. We learned many things we didn't know but it didn't make us certain that Oswald acted alone in the assassination or if others were involved.
In the picture collage, Brad is standing in front of the tunnel leading to the freeway where the President & Governor Connelly (Texas governor) were shot. The building behind me is the book depository. It was on the sixth floor window (of course hidden by the trees in the picture) where the shoots rang out from. The neat looking red building was Dallas's first court house but is now a museum. Dealy square is the name of the square of buildings in the area and they were the first establishments in Dallas, Texas.
