Memorial Weekend

We had a great weekend! It started out Friday night we left and stayed the night in Marshall, Texas about 2 hours from our house, so we could go to a big four wheeler ride there. I know most of you are thinking "isn't there enough land at your house to ride four wheelers?" The answer is "yes" but we want to check some other riding places out since we started to host rides here. Anyway there was a ton of people at this place, and it was really hot too but the mud was great. We got really muddy and enjoyed the time away with friends. Victoria and I rode together until I scared her by not quite making it up this embankment and tipping a little (oops) then she was a passanger on a Ranger. Brad and Cole rode together and everytime we stopped Cole and a friend played in the dirt and mud. Oh and Brad saved two girls (Megan Ashley & friend Megan) from drowning in the deepest mud pit ever!

Monday we had the Cook family & Kevin & Jileen's family over for a BBQ and swimming with some riding four wheelers in between. It was a perfect day to swim, the pool temperature was just right and so was the outside too. Many of us got a little too much sun! The food was good especially the homemade icecream YUM!

Cute Pictures! Looks like you all had a great weekend. Always fun to get good and dirty as long as there is a shower to be had somewhere. Sounds like you're all doing great.

You guys are so fun! I love how you all get together and have dinner and stuff. We used to do that a lot with my siblings but have kind of stopped lately. You guys do have the advantage of a huge back yard to spread out in. When I read your blog it makes me a little home sick for my childhood, what great memories your making with you kids!
